Week of October 4th

Hello Kindergarten families!

We are busy learning about Remembrance Day this week! Last week, we were hard at work understanding pumpkins and how we grow them, what they look like, and even that there are blue ones! We didn't know pumpkins can be blue! This was a lot of fun, and we got our hands dirty to feel inside of a pumpkin and see what it feels like. We will continue learning about them going forward as we use their seeds to help our counting.

Just some reminders, for all scholastic orders, I will be finalizing our class order this weekend. Please complete any orders before the weekend and I will send them in!

Please also ensure you are bringing library books back to school before Thursdays in order to avoid overdue fees.

Lastly, when walking students to our Kindergarten door, please try to use the sidewalk instead of walking through the parking lot as we want to make sure our kids are safe around vehicles and other snow-removing machine that are moving this time of year.

We will be sending out our Kindergarten EYE assessment soon to arrange dates for our meetings. Please stay tuned and feel free to reach out if you have any questions!
